01 / The starting point
The starting point
Each case arrived with hundreds of pages: claim documentation, certificates and opposing expert reports.
Scanned PDFs of uneven quality were difficult for conventional OCR. Dozens of new cases each week made documents the production bottleneck.
Hours of reading and transcription came before the expert judgment could even begin.
Structure depended on the drafter; compensation scales, deadlines and formatting were applied manually.
02 / What we built
What we built
Private web platform: upload the complete case file and receive a Word report in the firm’s format, ready for review.
Staged pipeline: OCR for scanned documents, structured extraction and drafting with the Spanish legal framework built in.
Four automated report types, each with its own template and logic.
Documentary studies for a full day of visits prepared in batches and filed before the appointment.
Every report is reviewed and signed by the expert. Corrections are logged and used to improve the system.
Per-user and IP-restricted access, audit logging and automatic data cleanup for sensitive information.
03 / The takeaway
The takeaway
AI does not replace expert judgment. It reads, extracts and formats so the expert can focus on reviewing and deciding. The same pattern repeats in insurance, back-office firms, tenders and any operation turning PDFs into documents.
Results from published case studies. Real examples.
